Welcome!
We teach math to kids aged 8–14 with live online classes and self-paced lessons. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices parents and guardians have. We use plain language to make this easy to understand.
Who this applies to
This policy applies to parents/guardians and children who use our website, apps, live classes, and other services.
Information we collect
Why we collect it
Parental consent and accounts
Children under 13 (or the local legal age) must have a parent or guardian create and manage their account. Parents must give consent for their child to use our services and for any recordings. Parents control their child’s account and can review or delete information (see Rights below).
Recordings and class content
Sharing and third parties
We share personal information only as needed:
How we protect data
We use industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit, access controls, secure servers). We train staff on privacy and limit access to only those who need it. While we work to protect data, no system is perfect — we will notify affected parents if a serious breach occurs.
Data retention
We keep account and class records as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Parents can request deletion (subject to limited legal or operational exceptions — see Rights below).
Your rights (parents/guardians)
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and analytics to make the site work and to understand how people use our services. Parents can manage cookie settings through their browser; essential cookies are required for core features.
Payments and billing
We use a trusted third-party payment processor to handle payments. We do not store full payment card data on our servers. Refunds, cancellations, and billing details follow our Terms & Conditions (linked).
International transfers
If data is stored or processed outside your country, we take steps to protect it consistent with applicable law (standard contracts or other safeguards).
Safety and teacher screening
Teachers receive annual background checks. Teachers are instructed on appropriate contact and privacy rules.
Children’s safety & reporting
We have policies and procedures to handle reports of abuse, inappropriate behavior, or emergencies and will report to authorities when required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We’ll post the new policy with an updated effective date and notify account email addresses for major changes.
